Using Net Promoter Score for Actionable Business Intelligence
Donna Oser, CAE
President | CEO
MSAE

Value: 2.5 CAE Credits

Net Promoter Score (NPS) can be a useful metric for association leaders looking to make data-informed decisions. In this association case study, participants will learn the basics of NPS and explore how one association uses NPS to evaluate its progress and inform products and services.

About Donna Oser, CAE

Today’s evolving policy environment, complex workforce, and changing economy present significant challenges for association leaders. With two decades of experience in association leadership and governance, Oser combines business acumen and a strategic mindset to help association leaders build capacity, grow influence, and achieve their objectives.

Prior to taking the helm of MSAE, Oser served as deputy executive director for the Michigan Association of School Boards, CEO of Vital Solutions, assistant director of the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, and executive director of Michigan PTA.

Donna earned a master's in leadership and strategy from Michigan State University (go green!) as well as undergraduate degrees in accounting and business administration from Cleary University. Oser earned her credentials in association management from the American Society of Association Executives and received extensive training in public engagement and facilitation from the Institute of Cultural Affairs in Chicago, Illinois.

In her spare time, Donna serves on several nonprofit boards, reads voraciously, and enjoys kayaking, cycling, and vodka (but not necessarily in that order).
